About the Symposium
This is a one-day symposium held at the Fashion Institute of Technology, organized by the faculty seminar team composed of multidisciplinary intellectuals and funded by the SUNY Innovative Instructional Technology Grant (IITG).
Creative Futures 2026 brings together creative professionals, researchers, educators, technologists, and artists to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping human creativity, scholarship, and innovation. Attendees eager to explore emerging ideas and innovative research initiatives will hear from visionary leaders and guest speakers and participate in conversations about building a future where technology amplifies human potential across disciplines.
At FIT, curiosity meets innovation and community meets technology. Share your perspective, learn from diverse voices spanning the arts, humanities, and sciences, and connect with others who believe the future belongs to all of us—human and machine, working in harmony. Discover new possibilities, challenge your assumptions, and help shape how we create, think, and collaborate in the age of AI.
